New Digs for KISScomputing.com
by Ross Lasley
KISS is proud to announce we have launched a new web site – please check it out at kisscomputing.com
Our new site features a detailed explanation of our process, a change in our portfolio – we are now using monthly case studies instead of links – new copy, and a new look and feel. |
As many of you already know KISS has been through some exciting and wonderful changes in the last year. Our new website is a reflection of our direction and what we are focusing on now. One of our favorite things are the new taglines on the process pages:
- Fully serviced. Fully customized. Filling your coffers.
- Deft design produces the "Gee Whiz!" effect.
- 3 Clicks - Front door to check out - Means more sales
- One (system) + One (database) = Zero (headaches)
- Show the competition who their "Daddy" is.
- Test, Analyze, Adjust. Baste well. Repeat.
- Businesses in a box.
We are excited to know what you think of our new digs, please check it out and let us know.
Other KISS News KISS has entered a two year relationship with Conklin& de
Decker. We'll be doing a new site design, new copy, and creating
some amazing functionality for them that will allow people
to buy the information they sell right online and have it
delivered digitally. Rest assured that while we will spend
lots of time thinking about aviation we have no plans for
a KISS jet, despite our thought that would be pretty cool.
Pie Day – this week we had another joyful and fattening
Pie Day. There is nothing like having someone who was an
executive chef whipping up tasty treats – check out
this week's tasty tip for details. It was a wonderful warm
up for Turkey Day.
Is sp*am killing you? Try KISS anti-sp*am.
One of our users recently said this: “I have 45 morning minutes back since I don't have to deal with sp*am. I enjoy a second cup of coffee in the garden now before I go to the office.”

Tasty Tip |

Monday of this week was KISS Pie day, an annual event when
we take time out in the early afternoon for a piece of pie
and a few laughs. This year's flavors were pecan and pumpkin.
The pumpkin had a little twist to it, though, and that's
what I want to share with you today.
I made a topping for the pie with an unusual flavor companion
for pumpkin. Limes. It's very easy to make, and adds a nice
flavor layer. Although it has a cream cheese base, it seems
to make the pie a little lighter. Here's what you'll need:
1-8 oz container of cream cheese
½ cup of confectioner's sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup heavy cream
zest and juice from two limes
Put all of the ingredients in a bowl and blend well with
a hand mixer until creamy and smooth and fully incorporated.
Spread over your pumpkin pie.
This will provide enough for about a 3/8” layer on
top of a 9” pumpkin pie. When you place the pie in
your refrigerator for storage, cover it with plastic film
that is directly in contact with the cream cheese layer.
This will prevent the topping from drying out and cracking.
It will act as an aroma barrier, too, so no other flavors
in your refrigerator will migrate to and imbed in the pie.
It's pretty simple and easy, and was well received at KISS
pie day. I hope you get the same reception at your table.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! |
