Our Company

KISS Computing, Inc. was founded in 1997 upon the principle that things can be done better through simplicity. Technology will advance, of course, but business is business no matter the venue. The key to success is using the right tool for the right job, and KISS excels in providing our web-based business clients with a full tool kit for successful commerce.

We're based in Massachusetts, but our clients come from all over the world - - Australia, Ireland, the UK, Brazil, Canada, and more than 20 states in the US. Two years ago, we opened an office in Dublin, Ireland, to serve our European clients. Our experience is in excess of 600 web sites during the past eleven years, and more than six dozen custom software systems for those sites.

We screen our project applicants with as much care as we hope to be scrutinized ourselves. We limit the number of projects accepted to that for which we can devote adequate time and attention each month with confidence. This involves more of a “partnership” approach with our clients, a relationship with equally important responsibilities for the project, another of the KISS differences. After all, a client's success is the measure of our success.

KISS is an example of what will be the typical small business in the coming years - - a mix of in-house and telecommuting staff. As such, we have a keen and very personal understanding of the needs of small businesses wishing either to create an Internet presence or to grow their existing web-based presence. Each of us brings to the table several overlapping skill sets, whether it be keen programming talent, a full color palette of designs, a meticulous production nature, crisp and cogent copy writing, or insightful business sense.

In all Custom Software and Web Development companies, there are certain standard roles played by the company's key personnel, the Department Heads. These positions include Head of Development and Head of Design and Production, in addition to the various hats worn by the company owner and CEO. These three Key Positions at KISS are presented to the right.
